Gansbaai is world famous for Whale watching, either land or boat based, also Great White Shark cage diving, Stanford's wine route (including 8 wine farms), Fynbos Nature Reserves, hikes, mountain bike routes (including some parts of the Cape Epic route) the Marine Big 5, the most southern golf course in South Africa and the yearly September "Funky Fynbos Festival".
