Athenian Villa welcomes you to a little piece of the Greek Isles in the Overberg. Set in a side lane, off the main road, one can lose sight of the little town of Caledon (known for its hot Springs) and imagine oneself in Mykonos or Santorini, the setting is so authentic.
The peaceful courtyard cascading with overgrown plants and flowers, makes it an ideal place for breakfast or a braai. It also boasts a plunge pool with small sundeck to lend to the relaxed atmosphere. This B&B has 7 guest rooms with toilet and shower facilities, and each is individually decorated and has television with DSTV select, wall heaters and fans in each room.
It has a very warm "home away from home" atmosphere where management and staff go out of their way to make sure every guest has a memorable stay. The building itself has a grand history, being one of the first in the town of Caledon, and the façade, which is a national monument, overlooks Donkin Street. There above, is a huge balcony where one can spend lazy afternoons reading or sipping tea. An ideal place for a weekend getaway.
Athenian Villa offers secure underground parking, conference facilities and can accommodate groups of up to 16 people.
