Villiera Guesthouse is a country home nestled in the heart of the Northern Cape, where rivers meet and is 100km from Kimberley on your way to Upington and The Kalahari Gemsbok Park.
Villiera is situated on the outskirts of Douglas on a beautiful farm setting near the confluence of the Vaal- and Orange River. Large trees on the banks of the Vaal and beautiful lusern fields surround Villiera, attracting all types of bird life. A Definite country feel is experienced from the minute you enter through the gates. Villiera is an ideal resting place for the tired business man, leisure traveler or first night honeymooners seeking a restful retreat.
The Guesthouse
We offer eight luxury and spacious en-suite rooms, each with a personal touch. All rooms have air-conditioning and heating. Provided in the rooms are LCD TV’s, 10 DSTV channels, tea and coffee making facilities. Guests also have excess to a swimming pool (pool towels are provided), bar, log fires in the winter and an enclosed braai area. Secure on site parking and a lovely farm feel awakening. All rooms have their own private entrances which walk out onto the stoop. Six of the eight rooms have a back and front door entrance which makes carrying luggage so much easier. Two of our eight rooms are equipped for families. The honeymoon suite has an open plan bed- and bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. A Healthy Country breakfast is served daily in the dining room, the patio or in front of your room (on request). Dinner is also served on request. Villiera has areas that are ideal for private meetings and functions. We cater for all small functions, weddings and birthdays.
Come and take time to relax in the lush garden, dive into the swimming pool or browse around in our cute, hidden gift shop, Die Silwer Lepel, where we also serve tea and cake. In the winter you can relax and enjoy a nice glass of red wine at our cozy fireplace. Come and enjoy a drink at our cellar or just sit on the stoop and enjoy the sound of the water fountains.
