La Galinière Guest Cottages are located on a boutique vineyard on the main road into Franschhoek. Converted workers' accommodation, the two cottages provide comfortable and affordable self-catering accommodation suitable for an overnight or longer stay. The vineyard is located just a few minutes from the centre of Franschhoek and is in easy walking distance of the town's facilities.
Families are welcome and the farm has a swimming pool and braai area that guests are welcome to use. Grocery shopping can be arranged upon request. Please note that the farm has 3 German Shepherd dogs.
Cabernet Sauvignon vines are grown on part of the farm. Although, not made on the farm, the grapes are harvested, made into wine, bottled and returned to us. A complimentary bottle is provided with every booking.
Children five years of age and under are free of charge. Children six to twelve years of age are half price.
La Galinière Guest Cottages provides the following amenities and services for their guests:

- Complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels

- High chairs, cots and kiddie DVDs (upon request)
- Grocery shopping (upon request and with additional charge)
- Late check out (if available and upon request)
- Braais
Each of the guest cottages has the following as standard:
- Television with wide range of movie and sports channels
- Electric fan heater
- Electric cooling fan
- Electric oven & gas/electric hob
- Microwave oven
- Electric kettle & toaster
- Fridge or fridge freezer
- Wide range of crockery, cutlery, pans and cooking utensils
La Galinière Guest Cottages has taken out a policy with Medicare Emergency Medical Response, based in Franschhoek, so there’s a paramedic to hand if for any reason he’s required.
