We offer secure, self-catering units that is conveniently situated within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Our units have private entrances with secure off road parking. De Oude Rus Accommodation is near to Tygervalley Shopping Centre , Haasendal and Cape Gate Shopping Centres, which incorporates an entertainment arena with food, leisure, banking and exciting retail stores. We are 10 min drive to the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Wine Route.
There are two x 2 bedroom units (Units 3 & 4 - Strelitzia and Clivia); The main rooms are equipped with double beds and the second bedrooms have two single beds which can be converted to King size beds. Each unit has an open-plan fitted kitchen and lounge area with an extra sleeper couch or single bed, wifi and television. The bathroom - shower only, basin and toilet. There are under roof charcoal barbeque facilities for guests of unit 3 & 4 to enjoy.
The 2 x One bedroom units (Units 1 & 2 - Lily and Protea): Main bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower, toilet and hand basin. Equipped kitchen and lounge area, wifi and television. Outside charcoal barbeque facilities.
The major advantage to staying in Brackenfell is the ease with which one can choose to escape in to the winelands or explore Cape Town. Lying within 45 minutes of the city has its advantages, particularly if wine is high on your agenda. Brackenfell lies just on the outskirts of the city, and the start of the rural winelands. From here Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington, Franschhoek and Pneil are all within easy reach. This part of Cape Town is for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. With the constant lure of the mountains in the background, and lush vineyards as early as Durbanville, using Brackenfell as a home base makes more than a little sense.
