Situated on a small ridge overlooking the Breede River, The Aloe Ridge Self-Catering Collection comprises of 5 houses in total. Aloe Ridge self-catering accommodation is an absolute must for families and couples wanting a total getaway from city life with all the creature comforts.
Aloe Ridge portfolio comprises of luxurious thatched A-frame houses overlooking the Breede River, just outside Swellendam. Each house has two bedrooms each one with it's own full en-suite bathroom an additional scenic outdoor shower taking in the abundant riverside setting making this the ultimate home away from home.
All linen and towels included. Each house also boasts a large deck with swimming pool and braai. The Houses also come with comprehensively equipped kitchens with large fridge, microwave, gas oven hob, and dishwashers. Housekeeping service available on request at an additional cost.
River Rafting half day and full day trips also available at an additional cost on site. Please note that there is a minimum 2 night stay over weekends. Check-in time is 15:30 and check-out time is 10:30.

PLEASE NOTE : The road from the N2 to our lodge is gravel. These are not main roads and are therefore maintained at sporadic intervals, please ensure you travel safely along them. The last 750meters to Aloe Ridge are slightly more bumpy, we do recommend a high clearance vehicle, however we have had many standard low clearance vehicles make this trip with no issue. We do recommend that you take this slowly and you will be fine. When you get to reception you can have a look at the road for yourself, should you not feel comfortable in your own vehicle then we do have a free shuttle service available that will take you the last 750m to Aloe Ridge.
