Cherry Berry Lodge has been certified as an Essential Services Provider during the COVID 19 lockdown period as required by government legislation. We endeavour to continue providing the highest quality of service during this difficult time.
Cherry Berry is an ideal location to use as a base to unwind, tour our golf courses or explore the Garden Route. Offering bed & breakfast or self-catering accommodation. We have 4 self catering units & the Lodge can be booked as a 3-4 bedroom holiday home. The Guest House has 3 bedrooms on the first floor and there are 6 at the Lodge all on the ground floor. The Lodge has a lounge/ dining area and a communal kitchen. Most bedrooms have an outdoor patio with garden/ mountain views.
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, DSTV, wifi & tea/coffee making facilities, some have a fridge. We offer hair dryers, heaters & fans in most rooms. Three of the bedrooms have self-catering facilities. Our De Lux Lavender apartment has its own separate spacious lounge with a fully equipped kitchen. The Views suite has a shower only and a kitchenette. The Rose room & Studio have a bathroom with a shower & a kitchenette.
We offer bed & breakfast or self-catering accommodation. There are braai facilities on the bigger patios. A swimming pool at the Guest House that can be enjoyed by guests of both establishments. The Guest House & Lodge have their own private entrance with secure parking behind remote controlled gates.
Enjoy the friendly hospitality with magnificent views of the mountains. We are ideally situated 5 minutes from the town centre, adjacent to golf courses and 15 minutes from the airport, mall, beaches & forest walks.
George & The Garden Route offer plenty of activities, beautiful scenic drives, hiking trails & mountain bike rides. Below are some of the activities you can enjoy; Beaches Three beautiful beaches, Victoria Bay, Herolds Bay and Wilderness beach are all an easy 15 minutes drive. Tourist Sites; The famous Cango Caves, Crocodile & Cheetah farm and Ostrich farms in Oudtshoorn are ± 45km away. Golf; George is known as the golfing mecca of South Africa. The famous Fancourt Hotel boasts of 4 courses. The Links, Montagu, Outeniqua and Bramble Hill (2 in the top 10, 1 in top 20) and is only 2km away. George golf course (top 20) is 500m away. Play Kingswood and Oubaai golf courses in George. Pezula and Simola (top 20) in Knysna. Goose Valley and Plettenberg Bay golf courses in Plettenberg Bay. Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay. All less than an hour from George.
