This is the ideal spot from where to explore the many features of the winelands and even farther afield in the Western Cape as we are centrally located – with-in an hour or so’s drive to most attractions. Franschhoek is the culinary Heartland of South Africa spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. All that is needed to enjoy great food is to make timeous reservations. Wine tasting is as easy as driving up to the many cellars in the valley.

The valley offers wine & cheese tasting, cellar tours, hiking, climbing, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, cycling, tennis, picnics, jazz every Friday in season, monthly classical concerts, shop till you drop, paragliding, health spas, facials and massages.

BUFFET BREAKFAST / ENGLISH BREAKFAST
A selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, yoghurt's, fresh fruit salads, dried fruits, hams, salamis and a wide cheese selection together with home made breads and produce all prepared with homegrown herbs, a selection of fine teas and filter coffee.
Main Lounge
Relax and chat over coffee after breakfast, meet before visits or unwind and read a book. Sip a glass of wine before going to dinner. Cool in the summer and well heated in the winter this is very pleasant room all year round.

The Poolside Lounge & Pool
Soak up the sun by the solar heated pool and relax in the stunning lounge with it’s library and selection of games. Enjoy the quiet away from the bustling centre of town. There are cool drinks to slake the thirst as well. Coffee & Tea Trays available on request.

We are located in a unique village called Franschhoek, in the heart of the beautiful Cape Winelands with a choice of more than 40 top class vineyards to choose from for your particular palate - be it a white or a red vintage. Franschhoek is also known as the Culinary Centre for gastronomic choices with some of the top restaurants in the country situated in this region. Reservations are a must, which your hosts will gladly organize for you in advance, lest you be disappointed for lunches, picnic baskets, dinners or any special occasions. Wine tasting tours on bicycle, horseback or by transport can also be arranged.

Franschhoek offers the tourist breath-taking scenery and warm hospitality, world class cuisine and the finest selection of wines. This is a valley rich in history with spectacular vineyards covering the mountain slopes settled 300 years ago by the Huguenots who brought with them their age-old French wine and food culture.

Within the village you can discover the wonderful craft, art & antique shops and galleries or indulge yourself at the Chocolate Factory Shop. Huguenot Street is also lined with a variety of restaurants and coffee shops and has the famous monument and museum to visit as well. Golf is also an option at the various spectacular courses nearby your hosts will gladly assist with your reservations. There is hiking, climbing, fishing, heritage & flora tours, tennis, helicopter rides, cycling, bowls, picnics, vineyard tours and cellar tours, wine tasting and cheese tasting.

There are 3 Deluxe+ rooms, 1 has a balcony, 1 has a sitting area and the 3rd is a junior suite.

The Balinese furniture perfectly matches the gentle colours.The modern en-suite bathroom with stylish terracotta tiles and unique backlit mirrors have power showers, heated towel rails, bath sheets and bath towels.
