At River Cottages we offer both recreational and overnight accommodation in a breathtaking environment. We offer three fully equipped self-catering houses sleeping up to 12 guests per house as well as ten two sleeper self-catering units. The houses are located right on the banks of the Vaal River in Parys whilst the two sleeper units are just 200m away from the river. From 1st September 2023, we will offer camping and caravanning facilities close to the main riverfront.
The little country town of Parys lies on the banks of the Vaal River about an hour’s drive from Johannesburg and an hour and a half from Pretoria. It is the ideal place for enjoying total peace and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

With pandemic we all still open the gate with our fingers without sanitizer around
Most people don't carry cash around and booking online is good but when you get to River Cottage you have to pay cash,please improve your system unless you don't want to pay Tax
