Meander into the heart of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands for a break away from the humdrum of city life, where your hosts, John and Sue offer a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. If you are in the area on business, or only here for a short period, maybe attending a Wedding at one of the many beautiful venues, or visiting children at school, we will endeavour to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.
Meander In offers four comfortable en suite rooms, each with its own entrance, Flatscreen TV, complimentary tea and coffee trays and off street parking. There is a sparkling pool to cool down after an adventurous day meandering or a hard day at the office. Braai/BBQ, DStv and wi-fi are also available. A generator and solar panels have been installed for use during load shedding periods.

If you are looking for hand-made or home-made, there is no better place to explore than “The Midlands Meander” which starts on our doorstep with the Howick Falls, Umngeni Valley and Midmar Dam, followed by an exciting route of Arts and Crafts, Museums, Spas and Restaurants and Coffee Shops. The outdoor enthusiast is spoilt for choice with a vast assortment of sports on offer - golf, bowls, hiking and biking trails into the indigenous forests, or take off on the adrenalin-charged Karkloof Canopy Tour or for a more gentle experience, go on a scenic horse riding route or catch a trout for a scrumptious evening meal.
The Natal Coast or majestic Drakensburg mountains are both a little over an hour’s drive away and major private schools (Hilton College, Michaelhouse, and St. Anne’s Diocesan School) are within half an hour’s drive

This twin room features a private entrance and en-suite bathroom. Satellite TV (B&B bouquet with DSTV) small fridge with tea/coffee making facilities. There is a ceiling fan, electric blanket (or extra blankets available) a safe and a hairdryer on request. A solar system has been installed therefore Meander In is not affected during loadshedding hours.

Queen Room with Garden and Pool View

This room which overlooks the pool and garden has a Queen bed and full bathroom en suite. Tea and coffee making facilities are available as well as a small bar size fridge. There is a flat screen TV with BnB DSTV Bouquet available. There is a fan, electric blanket and extra blankets for those chilly winter nights. A solar system has been installed therefore Meander In is not affected during loadshedding hours.

Queen Room with Garden View
