The Haystack on Homestead is a long-stay executive self-catering establishment suited for the business and executive person, as well as the leisure traveller looking for that quiet and tranquil setting that offers serendipitous home comforts for the duration of their stay.
With a cul-de-sac location in the quiet and tranquil neighbourhood of Edenburg, Rivonia, our guests could easily forget they are in Sandton, less than 8km from the financial centre of the Sandton-Central/428-0-1-1'>Sandton Central Business District and a stone-throw from the Rivonia business hub.
Our North facing beautifully landscaped Gardens provide an ideal ambience to lose yourself, individually or as a group – a perfect setting for swimming, sun-bathing, braiing (barbequing) or lounging, just listening to bird-song.
The air-conditioned apartment suites, each with individual private entrances and independent security alarm systems, provide a secure lock-up-and-go setting for the long-stay guest. No comfort and amenity has been spared to ensure that our guests lose themselves in executive comfort in each fully self-catering suite each with its own en-suite heated bathrooms. Each suite is equipped with modern fittings, finishes, furnishings and home appliances. These are complemented with free WIFI and cable TV/DSTV.
The combination of our outdoor Gardens and apartment suites make The Haystack the ideal setting for a residential function venue that can accommodate private group entertainment, team building/training sessions and meetings.
We enforce a strictly no-smoking policy in our rooms, but guests who wish to, are permitted to smoke in the Gardens, where we encourage a responsible disposal of cigarette butts.
