Vanilla House is a guest house nestled under the large acacia trees in the bay of Black River, Mauritius, the heart of the island's most exotic region. We are surrounded by the sea, beaches, and mountains, the picturesque villages of Black River, Le Morne and Chamarel. Vanilla House is especially suited for visitors who are looking for an authentic shabby chic experience with all its refinements and simplicity while on holiday in Mauritius.
Accommodation at Vanilla House consists of 9 en suite guest rooms all equipped with television, air-conditioning, and a kitchenette to heat food or brew hot coffee.
A fabulous breakfast is served in Vanilla Cafe, where our guests are most welcome to have their lunch and order their dinner. Our guests may also make use of our lounge area to meet up with friends or just relax with an exciting book from our library boasting with more than 1,000 books to choose from.
WIFI access is free and available in our rooms and in the common areas.
Our fabulous pool area is a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Guests may also make use of this area to enjoy their dinners or light up a barbeque or simply chill around the campfire taking in the night skies.
At Vanilla House the air is filled with the soothing smell of the trees, which set the tone for the type of atmosphere our clients can expect to enjoy. The great West of Mauritius provides a spectacular variety of outdoor activities which the guests can arrange for themselves or with our assistance.
