A warm welcome to Memra Guest House where your hosts, Chris and Magda du Plessis will make your stay an unforgettable one. We are proud to have been awarded an AA Highly Recommended endorsement status in the category B&B Homestay recently – a confirmation of our commitment to serving with a Spirit of Excellence. Memra Guest House is situated in a safe and quiet residential area in Ladysmith and is the ideal place to stay if you are travelling to this area for business or pleasure. The well-known KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields and a golf course are in close proximity. A shopping centre and the La Verna hospital are within walking distance.
We have 6 comfortable rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. All our rooms are fully equipped with air-conditioning, DSTV, a fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities, microwave, iron and ironing board. We offer secure parking facilities, a swimming pool to cool down in and a relaxing braai area. In the garden and throughout the premise you will find 7 beautiful water-features creating a lovely, peaceful atmosphere – an oasis of Shalom.
Breakfast and dinner is served at your request and can be enjoyed in our dining room, called 'Ouma Flippie's Plaaskombuis' or outside, next to the swimming pool in the entertainment area. 'Ouma Flippie's Plaaskombuis' embraces a little bit of nostalgia and this dining experience is also open to the public. Come and enjoy fresh bread and homemade jams.
Memra Guest House can also be used as a venue for small functions and we offer a catering, cake baking & decorating; and flower arrangement service too.
