Moolmanshoek is situated in the Witteberg mountain range, between Ficksburg and Rosendal, in the Eastern Free State, South Africa.

The reserve was declared a Natural Heritage Site (No 199) in 1994, mainly due to the rare Mountain Bamboo that grows in the valley.

Luxury modern sandstone suites matching the large sandstone manor house dating from 1928, offer a peaceful night’s sleep.
