Situated on the rolling hills of the 300-hectare De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate, between Stellenbosch and Somerset-West and close to Cape Town, Oude Post 11 is a luxurious self-catering house with five bedrooms sleeping up to eight guests.
On arrival, you will notice the beautifully established garden with private pool (unheated), a patio and deck – ideal for holiday sun-downers. The balcony, terrace and an outdoor dining area give the home an indoor/outdoor flow for relaxed entertaining. On the estate for your use are tennis courts, private fishing and a children’s play area. Once inside, the facilities are up market and as you would expect from an exclusive family home. The house has climate control, a fireplace for the chilly winter nights, satellite or cable, television, DVD Player, Internet access and books (local guides and maps). The dining room graces a ten-seater dining room table and the lounge is perfect for large family gatherings.
The bedrooms, each with panoramic views of the mountains and vineyards, come with fresh bespoke linen, hair dryers and towels. Our en-suite bathrooms are luxurious, individually decorated and well stocked with all the necessities. You just need to make yourself at home! The kitchen, promises to be the ‘heart’ of the home and should you be the type to whip up wonderful holiday meals – you’ll appreciate it and everything needed for a care-free family holiday; refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, stove, oven, toaster, grill, blender, microwave, kettle, tumble dryer, washing machine and iron. To provide as much privacy as possible for guests we are happy to say that De Zalze is a security estate and hence only registered guests will be permitted to stay overnight. No more than 12 people are allowed to visit the house at a time, including day visitors. Our home is suitable for children over five but is not pet or smoker friendly. Due to the nature of the property, it is not suitable for wheel chair access. We welcome long term and corporate bookings.
