Mon-Aé Guest House is full of character, has pine floors, wooden window frames, wooden doors and also antique bathes in some of our rooms.

The facility currently consists of ten deluxe and standard en-suite bedrooms. Our spacious rooms are equipped with comfortable queen size beds just for you. One of the rooms is wheelchair friendly. Four of the rooms have baths and showers in the room, while the rest have showers.

Mon-Aé Guest House is designed for comfort and has a relaxing atmosphere. We have a room with a peaceful, private garden where you can recharge with a book under a lovely lemon tree; in this garden there is also a “braai” facility that you can use. All the rooms are equipped with remote controlled televisions and the guest house bouquet of DSTV channels, including M-Net and all the SABC TV channels.

All the deluxe rooms are equipped with modern remote controlled air conditioners. It also includes
the necessary conveniences such as ceiling fans, coffee and tea facilities, secured parking and an
outside door for the room, which will take you to a relaxing environment in and around the garden. Internet and Wi-Fi facilities are available on request in and around the guest house.

The Mon-Aé Guest House is a smoke free zone in line with the legal requirements; a dedicated smoking area has been allocated. The cosy honeymoon suite is equipped with a romantic canopy bed especially for you and your loved one, and we have included a Jacuzzi bath just for fun!

Business travellers
We at Mon-Aé Guest House know that business travellers are looking for a place to sleep, yes!

But, they are also looking for a place where it is understood that when they’ve had a rough day “at the
office”, they want to relax, unwind and be pampered!

That’s why we treat our guests to a nice cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cold drinks on arrival, and let them decide what time they want breakfast the next morning. We can serve our guests breakfast in bed, or dinner in their room.

We also provide lunchboxes for those business guests who do not have time for breakfast, or want a snack for the rest of the day. Arrangements can be made for late arrival, and for early departure. We
have corporate rates: Less 10% off the total amount.

Location
Mon-Aé is situated in the southern part of the North West Province in the lovely city of Klerksdorp, which is just big enough to have a range of exciting entertainment, and to meet all of your business needs, but without the city traffic.

Klerksdorp is about 160 km west of Johannesburg en route to Cape Town via the N12. Klerksdorp has
a well established airport where every year, one of the biggest national air shows is held; therefore for
our guests with their own “wings”, we can arrange to pick you up from the airport. The Mon-Aé Guest House is easy accessible, only 1 km off the N12 national roadway to Cape Town. The guest house is centrally located, in an up-market area with Pick n Pay and various restaurants, such as the Ocean Basket, Spur, Peers Place (a well-known, local, family-owned restaurant), John Dory’s, Mike’s Kitchen, Coobah and McDonald’s within close vicinity.

Klerksdorp is also home to Matlosana Mall - a 65,000sqm first super-regional shopping centre located 5 minutes’ drive form Mon-Aé. With a top notch shopping experience and a retail mix of 145 stores Matlosana Mall housing most of the leading retailers. The town has a Rio Casino and some night clubs for the young at heart. And of course we have a few game reserves, lion farms and horseback riding in the vicinity, which you as a visitor can enjoy. We are in close proximity of two private hospitals with leading medical specialists.
