a Karoo experience with a difference. Our building was born in 1896 which makes it one of the oldest Vintage houses in Beaufort West, situated on a corner plot next to a river. The new owner Edith amazingly succeeded in creating a different feeling to this well designed 4 star Boutique Guest House.
The luxury spacious bedrooms with beautiful bathrooms capture a walk-through renaissance, art deco, contemporary and Karoo vintage. Rooms are all well-equipped with excellent beds, luxury clean crisp linen. The names of the rooms at Villa Contessa was carefully chosen to salute the famous legendary actors and singers from way back for their contribution to society; Grace Kelly, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Loren, Omar Shariff and Frank Sinatra.
Safe parking. Breakfast is served on the stoep or small dining room from 7 to 10 pm. Karoo dishes are served for dinner on request. There is braai facilities but confirm with reservation. The unique Gallery Karoo Pearl is part of the establishment. Walking through the red doors and stoned walls displays the passion in creating from the artist.
