The Cape Dutch style house dates back to 1834 and is set in a large garden with a swimming pool for guests' enjoyment. The La Sosta Restaurant, a major attraction in Swellendam, is just a short walk through the garden from the guest rooms.
In the lounge, with fireplace and relaxing atmosphere guests will find a console internet, sofa to watch TV or read a book, complimentary magazines, books & info brochures. There are six guest rooms, three traditional rooms located in the main building and three new rooms located in a new wing. Each with their own private entrance from the porch overlooking an enchanting garden with swimming pool.
All the rooms have full en-suite facilities and are supplied with individual heating, satellite TV, tea/coffee facility, hairdryer and pure cotton linen. The breakfast is served in the restaurant and a dedicated menu is placed in the rooms so that guests can order breakfast in advance.

Marloth Nature Reserve is five minutes from La Sosta and is great for walking or hiking and the nearby Bontebok National Park has over 200 species of birds and antelope species such as Bontebok, Grey Rhebuck, Red Hartebees as well as many smaller mammals. You may have a picnic or a break (barbecue) on the banks of the beautiful Breede River.
