Welcome to Tuscan inspired Accommodation at River Crossing B&B and Self Catering in the Central Drakensberg. A tranquil setting.
Come and enjoy our breathtaking panorama of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle forming part of the Drakensberg mountain range. River Crossing is an oasis of peace situated on 50 acres of farmland, bordered by the Sterkspruit and Mtoti Rivers where you can enjoy our upper or lower river walks. We have 10 stylish and romantic bedrooms, all en-suite, sleeping 28. There are 4x 2 bedroom self-catering suites, and 2x en-suite bedrooms in the management Villa. It is also to be taken into account that we are located in close proximity to the Drakensberg World Heritage site and that many species of small game, i.e. duiker, reed buck, mongoose, otters, jackals, serval and African wild cats, etc. take their refuge in and around the riverine areas on our farms. As a result, generally accepted noise associated with wedding receptions and parties is permitted, however, excessive noise levels that disrupt the wildlife is not permitted.
