Bartholomeus Klip is an exclusive destination in the Cape Winelands, located on a working farm and game reserve in the Riebeek Valley. We welcome discerning travellers, as well as families with children.We offer a range of activities on the farm as well as in the surrounding area .
An easy drive of just over an hour from Cape Town, our romantic and supremely comfortable farmhouse is set beneath a spectacular mountain range, and surrounded by well-kept farmland and a 10,000 acre nature reserve.
In the Farmhouse there are four double rooms with bathrooms in the beautifully furnished farmhouse and one separate suite outside, with its own secluded verandah looking over the veld and up to the mountains. Our own toiletries add a special touch to the Victorian-style bathrooms. Finishes everywhere are luxurious and stylish, with crisp cotton bedding and elegant fabrics.
Wild Olive House, which was opened in response to requests for self-catering accommodation at Bartholomeus Klip, has proved very popular with groups of friends and families. Children of all ages are welcomed, and the house has its own garden, swimming pool, large shady verandah and outdoor facilities for braaing.
