Nestled in the charming Hilton, Natal Midlands, KwaZulu-Natal, Courtleigh Cottage is a delightful 6-sleeper self-catering accommodation perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage features two comfortable bedrooms with well-appointed en-suite bathrooms; the downstairs bathroom offers both a bath, shower and His and Hers basins, while the upstairs bathroom includes a shower only.

The cosy upstairs lounge, situated in a loft area, is equipped with a double sleeper couch and a Smart TV with Netflix and Disney+, ideal for entertainment. The open-plan design of the kitchen, lounge, and dining area creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings.

Guests will appreciate the array of amenities including Wi-Fi, a workstation, ceiling fans and wall heaters in each bedroom, and a garden view. The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, toaster, and coffee/tea facilities, making self-catering a breeze.

At an additional fee washing facilities and housekeeping services are available. Hilton, a distinctly English country village 10 km from Pietermaritzburg at the start of the Midlands Meander, originated in 1857 with the purchase of a farm by Joseph Henderson. The town, cooler than Pietermaritzburg, attracts residents with its fresh air and Drakensberg views. Despite having over 10,000 residents, Hilton retains its village feel with tree-lined streets, Tudor-style architecture, and minimal traffic lights.

It hosts five schools, including Hilton College, which is the venue for the Hilton Arts Festival in September. This festival features South African theatre, drama, comedy, music, cabaret, and an arts and crafts market. The closest airport is Pietermaritzburg Airport, 13 km away and King Shaka International Airport is 78 km away. All restaurants and the shopping centre are a 10-minute drive away.
