Sun and Surf is a stylish second-floor apartment located in the secure Dolphin Ridge complex in Big Bay, perfect for up to 4 guests looking for a peaceful retreat. The apartment offers 2 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom also features a queen-size bed, with the second bathroom offering both a bath and a shower. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for self-catering, with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, and microwave, as well as cutlery and crockery. The open-plan living area includes a dining table, cosy seating, and a TV for entertainment. For added convenience, a large lock-up garage is available, perfect for storing surfing and kite-surfing gear, bicycles, or other holiday equipment. The apartment is just across the road from Eden on the Bay, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the beach. Guests can also enjoy the vibrant kite-surfing season, where the sky is filled with colourful kites from surfers around the globe.

Located just a bit further up the West Coast from Milnerton, Big Bay sits in its bay on the west side of Bloubergstrand, meaning "blue beach mountain". Only 20 minutes from central Cape Town and close to Melkbosstrand, it’s often considered the gateway to the Cape West Coast. Big Bay is a hugely popular destination for surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, with its beach offering those iconic, can't-miss views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The area falls within a Marine Nature Reserve, known for its marine life, including delicacies like Cape rock lobster and perlemoen (abalone), though catching the latter is prohibited. While the beach is a major draw, another highlight is Eden on the Bay, a modern mixed-use development just off the shore. This spot offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and residential and office spaces, all connected by pedestrian walkways, courtyards, and open spaces without anything standing between the development and the beach, other than the sand.
