La Rose is an eclectic mix of French, Indian, Cape Malay and African influences, where old world and modern embrace. Each en suite bedroom is unique and stylishly decorated with funky pieces of art which reflect the colourful Bo-Kaap and South Africa. La Rose is a home away from home, designed to cater for tourists as well as business executives and is gay friendly.
Centrally located, close to Table Mountain, walking distance from the V&A Waterfront, City Centre, Long Street nightlife, Parliament, Cape Town International Convention Centre, the Waterkant & several trendy restaurants.

The historical Bo'Kaap also known as the Cape Malay quarters is recognised for being the only original settlement where Apartheid was never able to enforce forced removals making it, one of the richest historical sites in Cape Town. Characterised by it's brightly coloured homes and cobble streets, you can buy anything from Indian spices, to traditional Cape Malay food as well as funky African art and craft, and is now a favoured destination for film and advertising shoots. It's a must to visit and stay in.
Ideally situated, it is one of the most central areas in the city, where everything is at walking distance. (Waterfront, city centre, Long street nightlife, green market square, parliament, International Convention Centre, Waterkant, trendy restaurants and cafés).
