Ardmore has 16 beautiful units to choose from and we cater for groups of all sizes.
We have 1, 2 or 3 bedroomed units either in our renovated garden facing studios, or our lovely cottages that face South Africa’s highest peaks.
All of our units have en-suite bathrooms with Jacuzzi spa baths, tea/coffee making facilities, and wood-burning fireplaces with a complimentary bundle of wood provided. You can choose to book your accommodation on either a bed and breakfast basis, or to include a 4 course lantern lit dinner.
Of course, every morning is kicked off with a sumptuous breakfast to set you up for a day of exploring.
Activities on Ardmore Guest Farm: The home-dyed, brightly coloured, cotton weaving business called “African Loom” is situated on Ardmore Farm. There is also a selection of Beadwork sold by us on behalf of the local community. You can also look around the Steve Bull Art Gallery, which showcases the work of our valley’s local artist and raconteur. All open 7 days a week.
Go for a refreshing dip in our swimming pool, relax on the loungers, or take a walk on our timber farm. We have a large dam with plenty of Large Mouth Bass, so try your hand at fishing or go bird watching; Ground Hornbill and Bald Ibis can be seen on the farm.
Activities in the valley: 2 golf courses, one an 18 hole championship course (no.21 in South Africa), tennis, hiking trails, bird watching (311 species), trout and bass fishing, river rafting, quad biking, and horse riding.
