The country feel has been charmingly retained, yet Ailsa Craig is centrally situated for both business and leisure with trendy Parkhurst, sophisticated Hyde Park and business orientated Rosebank right on the doorstep, with emergent Bryanston not far off.
If you want to relax away from the hubbub of Jo'burg's vibrancy, there are fountains playing in Ailsa Craig's garden, a bubbling swimming pool, a large shaded terrace and, in winter, flickering fire places in both the sitting and dining rooms.
