All five premium rooms are spacious and high-ceilinged, one with tiles and the other four with wooden floors. Rooms can be equipped with double beds or twin beds, as requested. Extra bed/s can be added. Wall heaters, electric blankets and (on request) hot water bottles. Towels, linen and bedclothes supplied.

These three rooms are in the annex behind the hotel and share two bathrooms. They are offered individually but are best for a family or group. Each room can be configured as twin beds or a king size bed. Facilities include fans, electric blankets and kettles for tea and coffee.

Staying at the Royal Hotel was pure joy! Anthony is a wonderful host and he made our stay one of happy memories and cherished times. Apart from the books and records, a stay here is an eye opener to the ways and history of a small Free State town. One could easily stay a week or more - there is such a variety of interesting things to do and to read!
