"Die Mynhuis Guesthouse" is situated in a quiet street in Kuruman, the oasis of the Kalahari. This guesthouse is known for its exceptional and friendly service. It is the ideal stopover when visiting Namibia, Namaqualand, Augrabies Falls, and The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. It is also a home away from home when on business to the local mining areas such as Sishen, Black Rock, Hotazel, and Khumani-mines.
Kuruman has its own unique attractions nearby, such as the Wonderwerk caves; Boesmangat; Moffat Mission and The Eye of Kuruman, a natural fountain.
"Die Mynhuis" consists of six spacious double rooms, each named after a Northern Cape Mine which is uniquely, and stylishly decorated accordingly.
Black Rock is our honeymoon suite, with bath and shower facilities.
Lylyveld is a family unit consisting of two rooms. One with a double bed, and another with two single beds. The two rooms share a bathroom with bath and shower.
Beeshoek is also a family room with a king size bed (or two twin beds) and a single bed. It is a wheelchair friendly facility.
All rooms have air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms,DSTV, a fridge and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. Each room has its own entrance from the beautiful garden and is serviced daily.
Your hostess Corrie, is famous for preparing superb traditional food or "Boerekos"!
Breakfast is served daily in a lovely dining room. Prior booking for dinner and lunch is needed. Take-away breakfast and lunch boxes are available for guests who leave early.
A braai area is available in the garden, as well as secure parking behind a security gate.
Laundry services is also available.
