Hezekiah Game Farm

Overzicht

Hezekiah is situated approximately 15 km’s from Nelspruit town in the scenic Alkmaar region, and is owner run and managed by the Coetzee family. A portion of the farm is used for small scale commercial farming, whilst the remaining area is dedicated to game farming. Numerous antelope species including Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Klipspringer and Duiker are present in abundance and bird life is prolific. A myriad of farm roads are available for birders, hikers and mountain bikers to enjoy. Fresh water fishing is possible in the dam (catch and release) and there is a peddle-boat available to use which can seat four people.

All three of the accommodation units at Hezekiah are situated close to the dam with fantastic views of the surrounding mountainous countryside. The original Stone Cottage (sleeps 5) consists of two comfortable bedrooms with double beds all with linen, sheets, and duvets. Each room has its own fan and heater. The main bedroom are equipped with aircon and DSTV Lite. The bathroom is tiled and towels are supplied. The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and offers a secure open plan kitchen with a full sized fridge/freezer; a three plate stove; a microwave oven; toaster and kettle. All pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are provided. One extra person can be accommodated on the lounge couch that can also be used as a sleeping bunk. The outside braai (barbeque) area is equipped with a grid as well as all utensils needed, whilst Bushveld firewood is available to buy on request. Relax on the comfortable chairs and enjoy the effortless tranquillity that will restore your soul and soothe your senses.

The two Log Cabins (sleeps 4 each) are proving to be very popular with our guests. One of the units is built on an island overlooking the dam, whereas the second unit is situated against the mountain with breathtaking views.The units are also equipped with aircon and DSTV Lite. Both units are fully equipped for self catering with a fridge, deep freeze, electric stove, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Each unit has one bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The open plan dining-kitchen area offers a table with 4 chairs and the two lounge couches can also be used as sleeping bunks to accommodate additional people. All linen, sheets, duvets and towels are supplied. The Log Cabins each have a private braai (barbeque) area with braai grid and all utensils provided. Bushveld firewood is available to buy on request.

The two Log Cabins consist of 1 bedroom with a double bed, open plan aria is equiped with 2 single beds , table with 4 chairs, fully equipped kitchen. One units are built next to a dam and the other in the mountain.All linen and towels are provided. Children under 12 years R 250.00 Holidays R 300.00 p/p/p/n sharing and R150.00 p/p/p/n for children under 12.

Stables

The Stables is a lovely self catering unit where 20 people can stay for a lovely family weekend. The Stables has a lovely spacious kitchen, dinning area , and a braai area under trees, and has a lovely Lowveld feel to it,

The cottage consists of two comfortable bedrooms with double beds,one single bed in the open plan kitchen aria . The cottage is fully equipped for self catering, and has an outside barbeque area.Aircon and dstv in the main bedroom. Children under 12 years : R250 Holidays R 400.00 p/p/p/n sharing and R250.00 p/p/p/n for children under 12.
