SHIKWARI SUITE

Our 6 luxury Shikwari Suites offers a main area woth a fully licensed bar,TV lounge & free Wi-Fi is available.
Relax on the shady lodge veranda taking in the view & cool off in the pool with an amazing view.
Six junior suites are tucked into the natural bush; with private bathrooms & outdoor showers, a small patio with views & a mini fridge stocked on request.
There's a choice of beds with percale linen. Hospitality Tray with fresh ground coffee, coffee press, a choice of quality teas & homemade cookies & also a turndown service with in the evening. A paid laundry service is available inquire with your housekeeper.
Guests at this camp may be booked on a Half board or B&B option. Please note there is no capacity for more than 2 Adults in the suites and there is no possibility of self catering

PANGOLIN RONDAVELS These are NOT graded.
A comfortable budget option camp approximately 500mtr from the main lodge. There are 4 traditional thatched rondavels wothva choice of beds and a pool. The camp consists of 2 rondavels with a “Bush Bathroom” - outdoor shower, covered toilet & basin plus 2 rondavels that share a separate private full bathroom & outdoor shower. Beds offer percale linen & towels are supplied. All rooms have a wardrobe, seating, & hospitality trays with kettle, milk, coffee & teas and ceiling fans. . There is no WiFi in this camp.
A boma is available for braais where guests need to bring their own braai tools, picnic set & charcoal.Please note that there is a gas & electric hob & 2 electric ovens plus washup area. The Kitchenette is not equipped. Guests are requested to bring there own picnic sets, braai tool & charcoal
Pangolin offers options of a Self Cater, B&B & DBB rate . All guests take meals booked, at the main Shikwari Suites camp. Wi-Fi is not available at Pangolin but guest are welcome to catch up at the Shikwari Suites
lounge only and available to all guests during the day. Please note there is no capacity for more than 2 Adults & 2 children aged 5-12yrs in the rondavels & Suites.
We are unable to accept day visitors or visitng friends of those staying with us.

They must be older than 5years and up to 12yrs may share with parents.
We do not accommodate
babies & toddlers.
Teenagers from 13 years will require their own room or share with another adult or teenager and/or 2 siblings under 13yrs.

On making the booking we unknowingly booked to stay in one of the rondawels (not the main lodge) and didn't feel the 4-star that this establishment is listed as.
The room was spacious and clean but did not hold up to our expectations according to the pictures we saw when we made the booking. Sleeping there for one night only on a Sunday, it felt like we were not necessarily getting the full level of attention to detail that a larger group of longer staying guests would have received (eg. there was only a ¼ roll of toilet paper in the toilet with no extra set out,one bedside light didn't work, and although the area/camp was neat, you could see the leaves were raked clean days prior). For the price, we expected more, and I would have liked the kitchen facility to be in a bit of a better condition.
