Overzicht
Mulberry Lane Suites are situated on the Africa Silk Farm, just 45 km from the Kruger National Park and 26 km from Graskop. (R533). A haven that is worlds away from the maddening crowds of modern life
The suites are nestled among the trees and overlook miles of forest from private verandas, from where you can enjoy the tranquility of the lush surroundings where the songs of birds replace the noise of traffic.
All the Luxury Suites are air-conditioned and sleeps two people. Each suite has a private patio with a spa bath and braai area and offers views over the indigenous forest.
The suites are fully serviced daily, and are equipped with cutlery, crockery, bedding and towels and dishcloths. (For winter bookings it is advisable to bring extra blankets.) Fire wood is supplied at a minimal cost, but please bring your own charcoal and fire lighters.
This is the perfect romantic getaway... with no television sets or children under 16 to disturb you.
We have our own restaurant on the farm. The Deck is open every day from 8 am to 8:30 pm. Here you can enjoy breakfasts and light meals as well as our famous homemade ginger beer. Picnic baskets are available, but have to be booked well in advance.
An informative guided tour on the Silk Farm will add to your total experience. This can be arranged at reception at a nominal fee. Browsing through our silk showroom is also recommended.
Tsanana Log Cabins are perched above the trees and overlook miles of forest.
Each cabin is tastefully furnished with a ‘touch of Africa’ décor and fully equipped for self-catering. We cater for groups of 2 to 11 people. Two of the cabins are attached and can be booked as a family/good friends unit.
All the cabins are air-conditioned and also boast with private bbq/braai areas. Log Cabin 1 and the Good Friends and Family cabin have private Jacuzzis, while Log Cabin 4 has a spa-bath. There is also a communal Lapa, swimming pool and trampoline. We supply fire wood at a nominal fee, but remember to bring your own firelighters and charcoal. On request a huge camp fire will be prepared for long nights at the boma.
Take note that the units are log cabins and always a fire hazard. The cabins are strictly no smoking zones.
The cabins are not serviced. Please remember to bring your own dish washing liquid and dish cloths, as well as towels, and insect repellent may be a good idea.
To ensure your full enjoyment of the evenings around the campfire, we offer no television sets. Here you can listen to the songs of the birds before the night enfolds you in a blanket of a million stars. We do have DSTV at our Deck Restaurant for our guests to enjoy as well as a games room where you can play pool and table tennis for free. Free WiFi is available at the restaurant.
For the corporate traveler we also have Memory Lane suites. Memory Lane is a refurbished 120-year-old farmhouse that combines old world charm with modern day comforts. Each suite has a en-suite bathroom, small kitchenette and a door leading out onto the huge veranda. Our Memory Lane suites have DSTV.
