Mari and Brian welcome you to the Woodpecker Inn, which is an affordable yet luxurious guest house, situated in the prestigious Woodhill residential and golfing estate where security is of the highest standard. Only some 50 metres from the clubhouse, on the l8th fairway overlooking the 9th and 18th green with its two dams where ducks and geese frolic in the water whilst an abundance of birds look on.
Top class medical facilities, shopping malls and excellent recommended restaurants are all within a 15 minute drive.
The Woodpecker is ideal for the travelling business executive. We offer you home away from home comforts with all the conveniences. It is the perfectly placed accommodation on a golfing estate... what more could one ask for?
All bed rooms are fitted with black/yellow wood furniture and have en-suite bathrooms, TVs, DVD players, bar refrigerators and air-conditioners. The surround sound in the lounge area with its cosy bar creates a wonderful tranquil atmosphere. Scrumptious breakfasts are served in the spacious dining area and other home cooked meals are available by arrangement .
Tennis and squash are available at the club.
We are in close proximity to OR Tambo International Airport, whilst other excellent golf courses in and around Pretoria are available to our guests, with The Gary Player and Lost City golf courses and the Pilansberg game reserve only a 100 minute drive from the Inn.

We booked for the Bride and bride tribe to stay one night and had to leave very early the next morning to get to the wedding venue in Tiegerpoort. As some of the bride tribe had babies and there were no couples, the hostess Annatjie went out of her way to accommodate us with single beds and camper cots. Not only did Annatjie and her team pay attention to our every need, they did it with care and big smiles. Our dinner table was booked for us at the club house and breakfast was ready really early so we could be ready for the big day. Thank you so much, we look forward to booking a weekend with our husbands and a round of golf soon.
