This self-catering cottage (with kitchenette) is attached to the main house, yet it is completely private with a separate entrance. It is situated in a garden with large trees and a pond. The veranda is equipped with a built-in BBQ with an outside work area and a sink with hot and cold water. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there are 2 twin beds in a nook behind the TV area (DStv Premium provided free of charge). The bathroom has an extra large shower. There are built-in cupboards and shelves in the bedroom as well as in the central living area. Free WiFi is available.
Onrus River is a tranquil village, only a few kilometers from Hermanus, with a beautiful sandy beach and lagoon. A short walk takes you to Davie's natural tidal pool, where you can swim or picnic on the lawn. alternatively you can take the coastal path around the Onrus peninsula to reach the beach. All basic facilities are available including a supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy, hardware shop, doctor's rooms, a fitness and wellness studio, hair salons, bars and restaurants.
