Overzicht

BRETTON BEACH CREST resort consists of 9 comfortably furnished self catering beach cottages, each privately situated in a superb setting in the natural coastal dune forest, all within about 100m of the beach. Most of the cottages have sea views except for the closest 3 which have the primary dune in front of them - these are ideal for the families with very small children as they are close to the kiddies tidal pool.

Each cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults plus 2 children (or 2 adults and 4 children but NOT 6 adults) and has either a double bed or 2 single beds in the main bedroom, a double bunk for children in the second bedroom and 2 single beds in the lounge/dining area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped including double door fridge/freezer + microwave and a gas stove with oven. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. Bed linen is provided but guests are required to bring their own toiletries, bath and kitchen towels. All cottages have limited dstv (bring your own standard decoder for full dstv), their own braai area and monitored security and there is a security gate at the entrance to the resort.

Being on the beachfront, with no busy roads to cross, the setting is ideal. The children can spend hours exploring the rock pools, you can walk along the beach, collect shells, go fishing or birding, or simply relax on the veranda with a book.

Bretton Beach is situated 3km from the centre of Port Alfred, heart of the Sunshine Coast, which offers all general shopping facilities, many restaurants, sporting activities, boat hire, hiking and canoe trails, horse riding and golf at the Royal Port Alfred Golf Course. Our beaches stretch for miles, there is a lot to see and do in the area including Bathurst and Grahamstown as well as malaria free game parks nearby.

All our cottages are the same inside. Some are closer to the beach than others and others have better views. 2 right on the sand are ideal for families with little children who can play in the sand off the veranda. The cottages sleep a maximum of 2/4 adults + 2 children or 2 adults + 4 children i.e. no more than 6 people. The main bedroom has either a double bed or 2 single beds, The second bedroom has a double bunk for children and there are 2 single beds in the lounge area.
