GOUEVALLEI CAMPING VILLAGES
The Gouevallei Campsite has two separate campsites totally private from each other(100m apart), but also available together, the perfect campsite for small groups that would like to have a bonding weekend, come and explore what Gouevallei has to offer. Each campsite has its own ablution facilities and power points
You can hire out the whole campsite as group. You can also book for self-camping with own camping gear or with the arrival of Gouevallei Camping Villages, In fact you only bring food and clothes," is anything to go by, any preconceived idea you have about camping - leaking tents, missing poles and pegs, hard ground and sand fleas - is in for a serious shake up.
DESCRIPTION:
Gouevallei Camping villages
Village- Each 'camping village' (maximum six spread along a 200m stretch) comprises a 7.5/10 square Bedouin free form marquee with an excellent outlook over the water, and one to three (depending on group size) canvas tents pitched underneath and equipped with 150mm thick high density foam mattress, cotton percale bedding, blankets, towels, braai grid and utensils, chairs, tables, electric light, cooler box, etc. If you would like to do self-camping then you have to bring your own camping materials.
Furthermore, every village has its own power point. Ablutions (hot showers and flush toilets) are communal.
Allocated near the river and has the most beautiful view of the mountains up close.

Here are a list off activities that can be done while enjoying luxury camping:

• Enjoy a braai/potjie with your group
• Canoeing – can hire canoes/kayak’s from us or bring your own
