WoodStay Lodge is self-catering accommodation on the outskirts of Newcastle. It is a safe and tranquil smallholding with a farm atmosphere.
The perfect place to unwind, chill and of course …braai. We welcome overnight travellers, professionals on business in Newcastle and those who would like to stay a while. Newcastle Mall and Black Rock Casino is 1,5km from the lodge, with most of the popular restaurants, shopping and other entertainment. Newcastle is the ideal midway stop-over between Johannesburg/Pretoria and Durban.
There are 3 golf courses in Newcastle. Many historical sites such as Majuba, Rorkes Drift, Battle of Blood River Memorial, Talana Museum etc are in a radius of 100km.
The magical Drakensberg is a mere 150kms away. Bird watchers enjoy travelling to Wakkerstoom for this purpose (100km). Nambiti Big 5 Private Game Reserve is 90km from Newcastle, on way to Durban.
