Thornleys is an upmarket guest house, situated in the historical town of Eshowe, in the heart of Zululand. With three en-suite bedrooms and a spacious living area, Thornley's offers comfortable and affordable accommodation. Each room features a private bathroom and offers tea- and coffee-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Thornley's boasts a wonderful collection of antiques, which makes for a very definite Zululand Victorian feel. Relax near the pool, or read a book or surf the internet on one of the verandahs. A homely environment is what we strive for at Thornley's, and guests are encouraged to make full use of the house facilities.
Thornleys Guest House has a birding deck which overlooks the Dlinza Forest, a bar, a braai area, a swimming pool, lovely Gardens to relax in, and secure parking for vehicles.
Eshowe is located on the North Coast of KZN. About an hour to the north of Ballito and 114 km from King Shaka International Airport. The oldest town in Zululand, Eshowe, has an enviable history, both Zulu and British Colonial. 500 metres above sea level, Eshowe has arguably the best weather in Zululand. 25 km from the coast, Eshowe manages to escape the oppressive heat and humidity experienced by the coastal Zululand towns.
