Our name says it all – a cosy place in Kameeldrift – East, en route to Dinokeng, Pretoria, where time is of less importance as you experience treasures of a bygone era, and hospitality and tranquillity that makes you want to stay.
All rooms have bar fridges, microwave ovens, tea- and coffee facilities, heaters, fans and radio's with MP3 Flashdisk ports. Mosquito plugs, extra blankets, towels, seating inside and outside rooms.

Wow! This is truly a hidden gem. We picked this accommodation because it was close to Roodeplaat Dam so we could attend the rowing event on 10/31 to 11/2. The photos online do not do Retro Cafe & Motel justice.
The room was exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable with very high quality linens. The garden was an amazing place to walk and see all the wonderful cacti and other plantings. The hosts, Claudi and Thomas are delightful people who seem to enjoy meeting all their guests and make every effort to ensure they have a great stay.
Definitely would (and have) recommended them. Will definitely go back.
