Little Forest Farm is a place to get away from your day-to-day and relax. Just over and hour’s drive from Joburg and Pretoria on good roads, with only 7km on a reasonable gravel road.
We are 100% off the grid which means limiting energy-hungry appliances such as electric kettles and hair dryers. The rooms, therefore, do not have microwave ovens but we do have a backup generator and a microwave in the main house if you do need something warmed up.
Maanhaarrand is a visual extravaganza for those who love the natural splendour of this country, as well as its fauna and flora. Archaeologists have long been fascinated in the region, thanks to the fossilised remains of ancient species that can be found here, both human and animal.
