Mthembuskloof Country Lodge has four comfortable chalets and two luxury tented rooms with en-suite bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests per night. You can relax and spend the day at leisure while enjoying a swim at the poolside, sipping your favorite refreshment. Even for your small intimate celebratory events such as a wedding, birthday party, team building, business breakaways, or just a family reunion, Mthembuskloof Country Lodge has a beautiful garden to create an ambiance and picturesque setting for any event.
Facilities onsite include The Mountain View Bistro: a restaurant and bar set among a lush garden with pristine mountain views. A cozy swimming pool and a Boma area are also available.
For the outdoor enthusiast, you can take guided hikes through the Mthembuskloof Hills with abundant birdlife. Here, overnight camping on top of The Hill can be arranged, and experience a night in the African bush. For the avid motorbike adventurer, we are motorbike friendly and offer guided off-road excursions within the Mthembuskloof Hills and surroundings. You can bring along your dual adventure bike, off-roader, or quad bike, or rent one of our 250cc off-road bikes or quad bikes. We also offer relaxed, but thrilling Boat Cruises @ Rust de Winter Dam. Boating trips range from just a 1 Hour Cruise, Lunch Cruise to a Sundowner Booze Cruise.
