Offering a unique glamping stay, The Magical Teepee Experience is situated in the charming town of Hogsback. The property boasts Native American tented accommodation, and is the ideal base from which to visit the town’s facilities and surrounding attractions. Each unique and rustic, yet romantic tent can accommodate 2 guests and features a private bathroom, a super-comfy sofa or armchairs, an original wood-burning Mexican Chimenea, and a well-equipped kitchenette to prepare and cook meals, and a deck overlooking the indigenous garden and property. On a clear night, guests can gaze at a million stars while lying in their bed with the teepee’s smoke flaps open, or sitting on the deck with a yummy beverage in their hands. Guests can visit the town’s facilities, or explore the nearby scenic walking and hiking trails in the area. The nearest major airports are either East London Airport or Port Elizabeth International Airport, located approximately 143 km to 269 km away.
Each teepee is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into three-quarter size beds, and each unit features an external private bathroom, fitted with a shower, a basin, and a toilet. Each tent contains an electrical point to charge devices, a super-comfy sofa or armchairs, and an original wood-burning Mexican Chimenea; a well-equipped kitchenette that contains a fridge, gas stove, kettle, microwave, and a toaster. Each tent has a deck that is ideal for sunbathing, or star gazing on clear nights. Candles and fairy lights add extra magic after the sun has set. A complimentary crate of wood for the fireplace is provided.
Each tent has access to a well-equipped communal kitchenette to prepare and cook basic meals. Each tented stand has access to a braai area.
Hogsback town centre, the grocery store, several restaurants and markets are approximately 2 km drive or walk away.
