Situated right opposite East Beach, Kitesurfer's Paradise. Stroll down to Surfers Corner to visit our pubs, clubs and restaurants, a 5-minute walk from us. Or take a stroll down to St. James Tidal Pool or venture further into Kalk Bay and experience Cape Town cuisine, artwork and thrift shops by the dozen. Cape Pizzeria offers great pizzas for all, including vegans, situated on our premises. An abundance of comfortable communal spaces for work or relaxation. Or just cook your own meal in the self-catering kitchen. Or perhaps come and have a great coffee or cappuccino in the pizzeria. We rent out surfboards, wetsuits and mountain bicycles at Cape Capsules Backpackers there is always someone friendly to lend you an ear or just chill listening to good beats. Cape Capsules Backpackers offer comfy secure sleeping arrangements, either in a capsule or a room. Dorm 1 contains 4 Standard Single Capsules and 2 Basic Extra-length Capsules. The Standard Single Capsules are equipped with a single mattress as well as all your linen, duvet cover and pillow plus a towel. Inside your capsule, you have USB port plugs, an electronic safe, a mirror, hangers and a fan. Your capsule is lockable and comes with an additional locker. Two of the capsules are on top and accessed by a ladder. The Basic Extra-length Capsules are equipped with an extra-length single mattress, all your linen, duvet cover and pillow plus a towel. Inside your capsule, you have USB port plugs, an electronic safe, a mirror, hangers and a fan. Your capsule is lockable and does not have an additional locker. One of these capsules is on the top and is accessed by a ladder. Dorm 2 contains 4 Economy Double Capsules that are ideal for 2 small-built persons or 1 large person on a three-quarter mattress. All your linen, duvet cover and pillows plus 2 towels are provided, and inside your capsule, you have USB port plugs, an electronic safe, a mirror, hangers and a fan. Your capsule is lockable and does come with a locker. One of these capsules is on the top and is accessed by a ladder. In both dorms, guests will find shared hairdryers and hair straighteners. All the capsules share bathroom facilities. The Family Room is ideal for a family with 1 child or 3 buddies bunking together. The room offers a double bed and a single bed and has a private exit to the back terrace. Kitted with all linen and duvets extra blankets for winter and 3 towels, the room also has enough plugs for electronic equipment, an electronic safe and a hairdryer. The Basic Double Room is located on the mezzanine floor, above the dining area. The room is furnished with a double bed and 2 towels are provided. An electronic safe, hairdryer and hair straightener and desktop fan are provided. All the rooms make use of shared bathrooms, and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, earbuds, and toilet paper are provided. The backpackers offer a communal, shared kitchen with a microwave, and a fridge. The bar and lounge have a TV with Netlfix and an after-hours honesty bar with drinks and snacks. Free coffee and tea are provided 24 hours. Wi-Fi is available. Communal braai facilities are available. Guests can enquire about the laundry service, and visit the tour desk for information about the area.
