Mont Plaisir is a secure and peaceful Guest Farm with self catering accommodation in Fouriesburg, Eastern Free State, in the Golden Gate Region.
It is a working asparagus and grain farm with a 360 degrees view, located 6 km out of Fouriesburg town, with four luxurious self-catering units and one B&B room in the historic Old Main House.
All the buildings have fire places and their own braai facilities. The Farm House and the Field Cottage have under floor heating. The units are fully equipped and include all linen and towels. All beds are either queen-size or single with extra length mattresses. The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden with lots of trees and spectacular views. In the garden is a lapa, where one can enjoy the spectacular sun sets while enjoying a cool drink, or gaze at the stars at night.
Mont Plaisir is located in the Brandwater basin with the fantastic scenery of the Red Mountains, the White Mountains and the mighty Maluti Mountains of Lesotho. It is ideal for out door activities, such as hiking, fishing, horse riding and snow skiing in winter. But also for those who just want to relax, it is the place to be.
