Chanteclair Guest House is situated in beautiful Franschhoek Valley, 75km from Cape Town City centre. The main house is a converted farmhouse, set in a landscaped garden. It offers luxurious accommodation and delicious breakfasts. We recommend a walk through the Gardens and orchard and on up to the top of the vineyard to enjoy the panoramic views of the Franschhoek Valley. We produce our own Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc and Malbec.

The views from our front stoep (verandah) and terraces are outstanding. The mountains provide a superb backdrop for a glass of wine in the evening, before heading into the village to dine in the gourmet capital of South Africa. Chanteclair is five minutes from the centre of Franschhoek.

There are four double or twin bedrooms in the main house and two separate detached units, namely, Vine Cottage and The Studio. The rooms are named after the trees adjacent to them in the garden, Jacaranda, Cork Oak, Prunus and Syringa and all rooms are en suite. Some have a fireplace or under-floor heating. All rooms have good views.
