Vosburg is an ideal stopover on route to the West Coast or Cape Town from Gauteng. No traffic congestion here. Hunting is big in Vosburg. Springbok abound and a lot of farmers offer hunting packages.
This area contains some ancient Bushmen history. Bushmen paintings, graves and a rare Bushmen piano is on a farm in the district and can be visited. There is also a hiking trail to enjoy the flowers in spring after early rains.
The guest house is a renovated 1930's house converted into 3 self catering units.
It is named after the original owners Mr and Mrs Myburgh who's nickname was Die Katte [The Cats] The units is named Haroldt, Tokkie and Jasper. [Mr and Mrs Myburgh and one of their sons].
DSTV easyview is installed in each unit and full DSTV is available on request. Braai Packs and breakfast are available at Die Ketel coffee-shop in town.
The annual Pan Fun is a huge off road rally hosted every December at a nearby pan in Vosburg and absolutely not to be missed.
