With three cozy Self-catering Holiday accommodation options in the heart of Swellendam, our goal is to provide a home away from home experience, where you can relax and feel at ease.
Swellendam Self-catering homes:
Three spacious and stylish homes perfect for families, groups, or travelers seeking comfort and convenience.
Each house is elegantly furnished, can sleep up to 5 guests and consists of:
- 2 x Twin rooms with a double bed which can be made up as 2 single beds.
- 1 x Single room with one single bed.
- Outside, under cover braai with dining area.
- Large open plan area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with DSTV.
- Separate scullery includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
- Shared bathroom with shower and bath.
- For load-shedding relief we have kitted the please with an inverter and batteries, which powers the TV, WIFI and main lights.
- Secured parking for 1 car, maybe 2 at a squeeze, behind an automatic security gate. and monitored by CCTV.
Dolittle Cottages:
For those who have a love of animals, then you'll love your stay at one or both of these Self-catering Cottages in the suburbs of Swellendam, equipped with solar power and a generator so you are never in the dark.
Our resident donkeys, sheep and chickens will happily greet you on arrival. To top things off when in season our 3 towering pecan nut trees will drop their gifts for you to pick up and enjoy.
Each Cottage is made up of 2 bedrooms and can sleep a maximum of 6 people with the sleeper couch in the lounge.
- 1 x Queen sized bed (this cannot be separated into two).
- 1 x Twin room with two single beds (these cannot be joined to make one bed).
- 1 x Sleeper couch in the lounge.
- Fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge.
- Shared bathroom with bath & shower.
- Braai on stoep leading to enclosed splash pool and sacious lawn.
- Off-road parking behind security gate, with alarm system in the cottage.
Marilyn's Rooms:
Ideal for the working traveler, these newly renovated Self-catering Rooms are equipped with an inverter for loadshedding time.
Located right next to our offices, you can expect a morning greeting from our resident dogs and cats.
Marilyn’s rooms have access to our Dolittle cottages property, so you can wonder over to feed our Donkeys and Sheep, they will happily trot over for a pat or two.

Wow! What a pleasant experience. From booking to upgrading our booking to waiting for us being delayed on the road due to extremely heavy fog.
They even phoned us to ask if we were safe because we are so late. Very caring indeed.
