Relax and enjoy your holiday in the Winelands.
Situated on Winery Road, between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, Acara is nestled in a valley called "Happy Vale" amidst scenic vineyards and has beautiful views of the Helderberg Mountains.

A fantastic location for visiting the entire area - from Cape Town to Franschoek & beyond, but yet peaceful and quiet. Acara is also only 5 minutes drive away from the beach!

Acara normally offer accommodation on a self catering basis - because of the excellent restaurants in the area (there is an award winning restaurant opposite) But a hamper breakfast can be supplied on request (warm croissants, fresh juice).

Fiona offers exceptional hospitality and can offer suggestions on day trips, restaurants and things to do in the region.
A great base to explore the area, or to simply relax!

There are 4 accommodation options: Balcony suite (sleeps 2), Jacaranda suite (sleeps 2), Lavender Cottage (sleeps 4) and Willowtree Cottage (sleeps 4).

The 4 cottages/suites are all beautifully appointed and all have double doors leading to their own terraces or deck area. They also all have fully equipped kitchens containing microwave/oven/grill, fridge/freezer and crockery and utensils.

Both cottages have living rooms with fireplaces - perfect for those cooler evenings during winter and all have heating units, some with underfloor heating. All have double doors from the main bedrooms and lounge areas opening out onto your own deck/terrace and own garden area.

They all have beautiful views to the sparkling (heated) swimming pool, large Gardens and paddocks and of course to the mountains beyond.

There is also wireless internet access available, and a large flat screen tv for watching movies.
