Celtis Country Lodge is a luxury, upmarket guesthouse in the Karoo Heartland town of Middelburg. Situated on the N9/N10, halfway between Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg, and Johannesburg and the Garden Route/Cape Town, this makes it the ideal stopover.

The guesthouse offers a variety of accommodation. The Bed and Breakfast offers en-suite rooms that have been exquisitely furnished. Spacious, individually designed and decorated self-catering family units offer every convenience imaginable. A lush and tranquil garden with swimming pool and wide, open spaces will invite you to our on-site Celtis Restaurant and Conference Venue. The Lodge offers 14 bedrooms, all equipped with air-con, DSTV, WiFi, hospitality trays and en suite bathrooms. The rooms are modern, yet comfortable. The rooms are ideal for business travelers, families and couples.

Most rooms are fitted with single beds that can be turned into a king size bed upon request. Some rooms are also fitted with queen size beds. All bedding is made from luxury percale linen. Don’t let the Karoo winter scare you away. All beds have electric blankets to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
