“Rooibektiptol” Campsite:
The unspoiled nature at the foot of cliffs next to a rippling stream will assure you the quiet relaxing you were planning for. A short hiking trail in the ravine next to the campsite will take you to the Sundowner. It goes through dense bushes and breathtaking streams with several small waterfalls – you’ll be carried away by the sounds of the birds and the sweet silence. It forms part of the famous 3 Provinces 4x4- and Battlefield trails which are managed by the owners. The campsite boasts hot water but no electricity. A generator provides light at the showers and toilets. Tents and off-road caravans can reach the campsite and same as the cabins, you do not necessary need a 4x4 to reach the campsite, but a high ground clearance vehicle is essential. Your ordinary caravan won’t make it there. "Braai" facilities are available and wood can be bought at the farmhouse.

Features available

Power: NO Electricity - Only a generator to provide light at the Ablution

Bush Camp:
This is a campsite to choose if you really need to get away, and you do not want to see a soul near you for quite a while. You will be covered with nature itself and nothing else. The campsite is under the big shade trees that has been named. A lasting stream is running through next to where you are camping. There are no facilities at all, only a long drop toilet that needs to be wiped before you can use it. It is half way (about 15 km) on the 4x4 trail and you will definitely need your 4x4 with low range to go there. It is best to arrive early at 3 Provinces (no later than 13:00) to reach the campsite before dark. It will take approximately 3 hours to get there.

We have had the opportunity to have TATA here in January 2008 for their new TATA XENON’s Launch and in September 2011 we had the honor to be the hosts for the celebration of the NISSAN PATROL’S 60’th Anniversary with an attendance of 60 vehicles.
