You will feel at home from the moment you arrive at Baines’ River Camp, a luxurious and intimate safari lodge with eight double suites and a family cottage, set on the northern bank of the Zambezi River amid Tamarind and Jackalberry trees. Enjoy a warm welcome and a refreshing drink in the Selous Bar before you unpack and get ready for your first activity. Or you may prefer to just take in the scenery this afternoon and settle down with your binoculars either on our main verandah or at the swimming pool to gaze over the Zambezi, Africa’s fourth largest river.
Baines’ River Camp offers a choice of six Explorer Suites with either King or Twin beds; 2 Junior Suites (which have two twin beds) and a Family Cottage which has a Master bedroom with bathroom ensuite and a second bedroom with twin beds with its own bathroom. Each of these individual colonial style safari suites, named after different African Explorers, commands its own view of the Zambezi River from a comfortably furnished verandah. Decorated with rich, classical fabrics, colourful kelims, natural hardwood timbers, leather and finished with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, cotton percale linen, pure down pillows and duvets, complimentary mini-bar with coffee and tea making facilities, a personal safe for your valuables and a hair dryer.

Fully Inclusive Rates INCLUDES: Accommodation, meals, local drinks, twice daily safari activities*, internal road transfers from Royal Airstrip, SES, wifi, VAT, tourism levies & laundry.
