Hornbill House is situated in the tranquil and tropical village of St. Lucia on the banks of the St. Lucia estuary, the area is surrounded by the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, A World Heritage Site.
We offer 4 well appointed, comfortable and fully serviced en-suite rooms, the rooms have their own TV, ceiling fan and a private balcony overlooking the garden, for a family there is a spacious family room with air conditioning and a excellent view. Tea and coffee is available in all rooms and a laundry service as well.
A swimming pool, sundeck and barbeque facilities are also present at the guesthouse. Enjoy a delicious full breakfast with us whilst lunch and dinner is available from a variety of local restaurants.
There are a variety of local tours available, departing from Hornbill House with Shakabarker Tours.
Tours include: World Heritage Tour, Cahmaeleon Night Drive, Big 5 game drive, Turtle tours (in season from November to March) Whale watching (in season from June to November) hikes, bike rides, boat cruises, deep sea fishing, horse riding and many more.
There is plenty to do within the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park but for those of you that would like to venture out to the surrounding area's, there are many places to visit.
